Anyo is a Filipino noun meaning figure, form or appearance. Formed in Manila in 2005, this power lineup of musicians is composed of Kettle Mata on guitar and vocals, Janby Teodoro on bass and Leo Barrite on drums. Anyo's music defies precise categorization. The music of Anyo can be best described as modern rock with hints of power pop, taking influence from such bands and artists like John Mayer, Coldplay, Vertical Horizon, Switchfoot, The Police and U2. Anyo, as a group may be fairly new but its members are seasoned musicians in the Philippine music scene. All three are working musicians doing session and studio works for some of the Philippines' top recording artists.
